The program also incorporates a variety of energy-efficiency services, such as facility energy analysis, detailed design assistance, competitive financing, commissioning and post-installation savings verification.
Black Hills Power offers a Business Enhancement Program to assist customers in the use of energy-efficient electro-technologies, such as energy storage and lighting modifications. The following incentives are offered:
Lighting: Existing commercial customers who retrofit indoor lighting systems are eligible for up to a $5,000 incentive if they sign a three-year electric power service contract. Without a contract, the maximum incentive is $500.00. Incentives are based on $0.12 per watt saved for hardwire installations and $0.04 per watt saved for compact fluorescent lamps.
